Haha, thank you. It's been awhile now since I updated this I guess... I'm now in trains. They've given me a truck that is pretty much mine exclusively, so I've bought a bunch of chrome for the interior and basically taken parts off other Francis trucks to put on my exterior. It's got a 475 C-15 Acert and just a ten speed (OUCH)! Pretty under-powered to be grossing 129,000 pounds. Since this picture, I've added headlight visors and purple load light lenses... hoping to get it pinstriped soon though. This is what it looked like when they handed me the keys... I've added a lot to it and I swapped those aluminum Travis trailers for older steel Rancos... same axle configuration though. Here's something kinda cool though, they just got their first set of sidedumps and in an effort to make the most profit with them, they were working them both night and day. The daytime driver of this truck told the boss he wanted me to be the one to drive it at night if he NEEDED to slipseat with anybody, so they put me in them in the nights for a couple weeks. It's not a bad truck, 650 horse ISX and an eighteen speed, so it's a real largecar. Good to have a longhood for awhile too. I'll post an interior shot of Forty-three as soon as I receive my last two gauge plates, which are in the mail.

Absolutely not. I enjoy being the only Francis truck that's got 'em. Why would I want something everybody else has?

On to the next chapter of my career. I've started making overnight trips to the south end of my state. In two weeks, I'm legal to get out of Utah. I'm in a sweet truck and I'm currently buying more chrome for the inside. All the outside needs now is a set of hubcaps for the trailer and my flapper rain caps on the exhaust once they're cut flat.
